A true musical maverick, Lucia is an independent artist known for her ‘singular voice embedded with soul and spirit’, ‘an exhilarating’ award-winning songwriter and a world-class fiddler who has enjoyed a long standing career that includes backing up Joan Baez, performing in more than 20 countries and releasing 7 full length albums of original music.
She moved to Italy in 2014 to marry her partner at the time, a vet for the Palio di Siena historic horse race. She has since lived, worked and thrived in Italy for more than 10 years. She holds a BA degree in Cultural Anthropology which has helped her to learn, adapt and integrate into local Italian culture and family life in a way most foreigners never do.
